Based in either London, Jersey or Guernsey, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join a leading offshore law firm to lead the events management and marketing function for the global Corporate, Banking & Finance and Investment Fund practices. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager and liaising directly with partners, you will oversee two junior colleagues and will be responsible for ensuring the completion of all key initiatives in each of the practice plans within budget. This challenging and varied role will offer a great opportunity for development as it is expected the role holder will become the go to person supporting the firm's London office across a variety of marketing activities. The Marketing Manager or Assistant Marketing Manager will be heavily involved in event management. You will plan, research, organise and implement the delivery of marketing events and maintain an on-going pipeline of both virtual and physical events, including pre-event planning and post event follow ups. The successful applicant will develop e-marketing lists and implement campaigns for lawyers and corporate practice areas, designing and formatting branded communications and undertaking post email campaign reviews. You will also manage the firm's legal directories submission process and promote events and technical briefings on the firm's website and social media platforms. The firm are looking for a team playing marketing specialist with strong financial or professional services experience gained most likely from a leading law firm, to include proven events management experience. A bright graduate or equivalent, the Marketing Manager or Assistant Marketing Manager will possess high attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
