An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development specialist to join a rapidly growing independent law firm to provide support to a varied portfolio within the firm's Employment and Incentives department. Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, the successful applicant will join a highly regarded pool of Executives and will manage the execution of projects from start to finish, using their initiative to lead meetings with Fee Earners when required. The Business Development Executive or Senior Business Development Executive work with the rest of the team in the execution of the BD programme, including the communication of specific messages and the creation and implementation of products and value add-on services. Key duties will include leading the preparation of directory and award submissions; assisting the production of credential statements, pitch documents and presentations, marketing material and other client communications; organising a wide range of client-focused events; producing regular direct mail and e-mailings; and maintaining the internet and intranet to ensure business development content is up to date. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience working in a similar role in the Business Development function of a legal, private client or professional services organisation. A strategic and creative team player, who is analytical, proactive and able to adopt a calm approach, the Business Development Executive or Senior Business Development Executive will be personable and confident with excellent communication skills and will possess a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with energy, enthusiasm and drive.
