BD Manager – Leading Accountancy Firm – Birmingham/Manchester
An excellent regional role has arisen in a leading accountancy firm. The Business Development Manager will lead and develop business development and marketing initiatives.
The role holder will be based in Birmingham or Manchester. You will plan and deliver business development support ensuring the objectives in the business plan are achieved. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with identifying and developing target markets, co-ordinating activities to develop the profile of the group and presenting the firm's expertise in a consistent way. This role will require the successful applicant to build strong relationships with fee earners across offices and positive working relationships with the wider BD & Marketing team. You will also manage a BD Executive, providing support, advice and coaching to assist them in the delivery of their objectives.
The Business Development Manager will be confident, proactive and solutions focused, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess strong project management and communication skills, with an ability to liaise, both internally and externally, at all levels. This role would suit a business development professional with a strong understanding of targeting, managing pipelines, credentials and pitches and implementing BD plans.
