BD & Marketing Associate (12 Month FTC) – Innovative Investment Trust
This is an exciting 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a bright and motivated Marketing & Business Development Associate to join an innovative Investment Trust supported by a wholly owned professional services business. The role may become permanent for the right person.
The role holder will enjoy a varied role. On the BD side, you will be provide support with lead generation and management, tracking and reporting on referral and lead generation activity and tracking all fee earner interactions in order to identify where these can be useful for new business conversations and researching audience group behaviours and the best channels to reach them. Bid support will represent an important element of the role, with the successful applicant administering the RFP response process for the pensions department, ensuring the process has been followed and timelines are met, creating initial drafts of RFP responses and updating response material, supporting fee earners in their pitch performance by preparing resources and keeping performance tracking and feedback reports up to date. You will also be expected to act as a knowledge hub for CRM system to support fee-earners, consolidate information from other sources into the firm's CRM system, set up relevant reports for fee earners to access and work with fee earners to audit their contacts to maximise future opportunities. From a marketing perspective, the Marketing & Business Development Associate will need to ensure marketing plans are being followed on schedule and will manage collateral, write content for social media and the firm's website and design social media posts using design software. In addition, you will provide both PR support and manage the logistics of firm events.
This role would suit a very bright graduate or equivalent with proven BD and marketing experience in the professional services sector, preferably to include experience of working in a fast growing and dynamic small business environment. An intellectually curious, independent thinker and problem solver who gets things done, the Marketing & Business Development Associate will also possess a commercial mind-set and excellent communication and presentation skills.
