An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious BD & Marketing Coordinator to join the supportive team of a London based, specialist law firm to work with their highly regarded Real Estate groups. This role would provide a good next career step for an assistant and represents a great opportunity to work with teams spanning the commercial real estate, private wealth and disputes sectors. The BD & Marketing Coordinator will report to the Real Estate BD & Marketing Manager and will be mentored by them and supported to develop their professional skillset. The Real Estate group is a dynamic and engaged team which produces a lot of good content and they are open to new ideas and happy to receive direction on best practice in terms of marketing and BD. The successful applicant will enjoy a broad role reviewing and updating sector plans and budgets, taking ownership of team sub-groups, helping them to drive their BD strategies, and supporting and encouraging Associates with business development. Key responsibilities will include client, competitor and sector research and supporting on pitches, BD meetings and other presentations. On the marketing side, you will assist the development and execution of cross channel marketing campaigns, manage internal communications, draft and compile directory and award submissions and support the Events team to organise and host breakfast, lunch and evening client events for the fee-earning teams. You must have previous experience of business development and marketing within a real estate focused professional services firm, ideally a law firm. A self-motivated team player, you will have excellent IT, organisational and communication skills and be both accurate and thorough. It is essential that the BD & Marketing Coordinator is able to remain calm whilst working under pressure and possesses both the confidence to interact with people at all levels of the firm and ability to build productive relationships.
