BD & Marketing Manager (US) – Large International Law Firm
One of the largest full service law firms in the world is looking for an established and assured marketing professional to fill an exciting role in which you will demonstrate highly creative and committed ownership of business development programmes and support product groups to become global trusted advisers to their clients.

You will be tasked with delivering the highest standards to the business, working with senior partners and operations leaders across the firm. With line management responsibility for a Marketing Executive, the role holder will work with Partners from across the international business who are conducting client activity in the US and will be required to build strong internal relationships with these key stakeholders in order to help maintain and execute a sales funnel across multiple practices and jurisdictions. The BD & Marketing Manager will work closely with US colleagues to help identify client opportunities and oversee the strategy of the firm's global marketing initiatives including third-party sponsorships across the US. The successful candidate will work with the Deputy Marketing Director and the partnership to support growth through best practice business development campaigns and marketing initiatives and executing relationship excellence with their clients. Key responsibilities will include driving forward the client relationship and business development strategy; championing CRM best practice maintaining an accurate and regularly updated sales funnel; providing business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends; working collaboratively with marketing colleagues to develop content and topic ideas for US based clients; and designing and producing internal written comms on a bi-monthly basis.
You will have a strong academic record allied to proven marketing and business development experience gained in a professional services environment, to include a superb track record of delivering marketing and business development plans, campaigns and initiatives. The BD & Marketing Manager will need a commercial attitude, ability to develop relationships and capacity to use influencing skills to gain credibility across all levels within the firm. The BD Manager must also be able to demonstrate strong people management skills. Experience using Interaction CRM and Collaborate is also desirable.
