This is a great opportunity for a bids specialist to join a progressive international law firm as part of their global bid team. The Bid & Pursuit Manager will report to and work closely with the Head of Bids and will be a key member of the Global Bid Team and wider business development function. Supporting bids throughout the process to ensure bid excellence, you will contribute to the strategic growth of the firm through new and existing business wins. This role will primarily support the Corporate and Digital Economy requirements of the firm but will at times be required to support additional cross practice and industry opportunities. The role holder will enjoy hybrid working arrangements and will be responsible for the end-to-end bid and pursuit process and management strategy. An integral part of the bid and pursuit advisory function, you will lead the development of bid responses and pursuits in collaboration with the global bid team, business development and other stakeholders by developing leading and persuasive bid content for each requirement and client. The successful applicant will also review, monitor and promote bid best practice and analyse bid and pursuit reporting, statistics, feedback and outcomes to support continuous improvement of overall quality, win rates and activity and to spot to trends. The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with demonstrable experience of working in a bids role and a track record of successfully managing winning bids end-to-end. Enthusiastic, proactive and collaborative, with an excellent service ethic and the ability to operate effectively in a high-performance environment and as part of a busy team, the Bid & Pursuit Manager will possess outstanding organisational and communication skills and will have developed a strong understanding of bids best practice. Proven experience of team management and collaborating with SME stakeholders and other teams to deliver against bid and pursuit requirements will also be essential.
