Joining a very forward thinking team in a leading law firm, the Business Development Administration Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks and will provide administrative support to the marketing team. The Business Development Administration Assistant will assist the BD team in the pitching process by making text amends and proof reading documents, maintaining the pitch database and tracking pitch success and maintaining the firm wide deals database, capturing relevant information from deal reports and pitches and sending off relevant information to league tables. You will also assisting with the creation and maintenance of experience statements and CVs and conduct research on competitors, targets and the industry when required. From a marketing communications perspective, you will be responsible for updating marketing materials both on and off-line, co-ordinating the directory submission process and compiling eCommunications. In addition, the role holder will provide support to the events team in organising events including seminars, conferences and key client entertainment and work with the BD team to organise client dinners and other ad hoc events as well as co-ordinating speaking opportunities and partner involvement in conferences. The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a busy BD or marketing team. You should have a high attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and be motivated and pro-active with a 'can-do' approach. The Business Development Administration Assistant will need to be flexible as regards to time and duties and have excellent administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and adhere to strict deadlines.
