Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager (12 Month FTC) – Progressive Law Firm
A progressive law firm headquartered in London is seeking a proactive and collaborative Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager to join the firm on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role holder will be responsible for helping the firm to develop existing client relationships and win new work through enhancement of the firm’s data and reporting on clients, contacts and intermediaries. Acting as a champion for data quality, the Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager will work closely with Business Development teams to implement common approaches and standards for internal data, reporting, client communications and pitch production and support the sharing of information and common standards across the entire firm. The successful applicant will be required to supervise a Business Development Coordinator in maintaining accurate and timely BD and Marketing data, through regular review and follow up with partners and lawyers to ensure completion of records on clients, contacts and Business Development activities. You will be required to oversee the production of reports for various committees and propose and implement enhancements. Other key areas of focus will also include the setting up of processes to allow the efficient production of pitch and credentials documents and client presentations and overseeing consistent and efficient support to client and internal meetings. A committed team-player with a strong ability to engage colleagues at every level, the Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager will have a proven track record of enhancing the quality of data and standard materials to allow more consistent delivery to clients, gained whilst working in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. Forward looking and open minded in the use and selection of technology, the ideal candidate will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to balance competing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience of CRM systems, particularly InterAction, and of pitch and credentials systems is prerequisite.
