Business Development Coordinator (Corporate, Energy & Infrastructure) – Major Global Law Firm
A major global law firm is hiring a Business Development Coordinator to join their excellent Corporate team. The role holder will exclusively support the UK-based Corporate, Oil & Gas and Power & Infrastructure team, which consists of 8 partners. The firm’s UK-based energy team remains one of the strongest in the country and around the globe. It is the heart of the Global Energy team and many of the firm’s most iconic client relationships and projects are led out of this central hub. This is an excellent opportunity to both further develop your business development skillset and to work hand-in-hand with fee earners. The successful applicant will enjoy a broad role and will have the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of the Corporate, Energy & Infrastructure business and the clients and sectors on which the firm advise. There will be heavy involvement in the bids process, as you will work closely with the team’s Business Development Executive to support on pitches, helping to prepare a first draft or collate relevant content and ensuring pitches are logged appropriately and outcomes are sought out with relevant feedback. The Business Development Coordinator will play an integral part in the directory submissions process for the practice and will also assist with the maintenance of the Content library and credentials system and will be responsible for keeping the Oil & Gas and Power & Infrastructure sections of the firm’s website up to date. The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with a keen interest in business development and, ideally, some exposure to the Corporate market or the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. The firm are looking for a Business Development Coordinator who is able to demonstrate outstanding personal leadership skills, recognises how their work contributes to and affects the work of others, prioritising and communicating accordingly, and finds ways to enhance the experience of the firm’s clients through their daily tasks.
