A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and energetic BD Coordinator to join the diverse and multicultural BD and Marketing team of an elite global law firm. The successful applicant will be joining a high performing but also highly collegiate team and can expect to contribute to projects and initiatives with global impact from their very first day. The BD Coordinator will be an integral part of the firm's global BD and Marketing centralised team working across practice groups, industry groups and client account teams to provide the very best support for the BD activities and initiatives undertaken to realize commercial and marketing goals. You will enjoy a varied and challenging role assisting in the preparation of pitches; helping to drive forward the implementation of sector and client action plans in support of the section’s business plan, and related business development initiatives in London and globally; be involved in the drafting of submissions for legal directories and award entries and a variety of marketing communications; maintaining a deal list and ensuring opportunities are captured in the firm’s CRM database; and undertaking client, market, sector and decision-maker research and analysis and opportunity spotting research. To be successful in this role you must be a flexible and committed graduate or equivalent with relevant in-depth business development experience gained in a professional services firm, to include exposure to client relationship management. A team player with a creative and strategic mind-set, the BD Coordinator will also possess excellent IT, negotiating and communication skills combined with a high attention to detail and the ability to work on their own initiative and under pressure to tight deadlines.
