An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join a leading international law firm to provide support on day-to-day and strategic business development and marketing activity for the Financial Institutions sector, one of the firm’s key sectors. The role holder will support two Business Development Managers within the Financial Institutions sector team. The team cover all groups across the Financial Institutions sector including Banks, Insurance, Funds & Asset Management, FinTech, Private Equity, Private Wealth and Financial Regulation. The Business Development Executive will be assisted in their day to day work by a growing Marketing & Business Development Services team based in the UK and will work in close cooperation with colleagues across the firm's global Marketing & Business Development teams. Acting as a key point of contact and ambassador for the practice, the successful applicant will assist on specific marketing and BD initiatives, which use the full marketing mix to raise awareness of the practice in line with strategic growth objectives and will work with the leadership team to plan and implement business plans, budget proposals and campaign plans for the EMEA region. This broad role will cover all elements of the BD and CRM mix, including pitch management and key account planning, through to broader marketing, communications and events. This position will require an excellent academic background or equivalent allied to proven marketing and business development experience gained in a legal, professional services or partnership environment, to include experience in managing and writing bids. Confident, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative and proactive approach, it is essential that the Business Development Executive is eager to take on additional responsibility and possesses the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple tasks and stakeholders.
