An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join a leading international law firm to provide support on day-to-day and strategic marketing and business development activity for the firm's Technology and Consumer sector groups and Disputes practice group. The role holder will support two business development managers, one manager responsible for the Technology and Consumer sectors, with a particular focus on Intellectual Property, IT & Data, and a second manager responsible for dispute resolution and litigation, which also includes competition and investigations. The Business Development Executive will be supported in their day to day work by a growing Marketing & Business Development Services team based in the UK and will work in close cooperation with colleagues across the firm's global Marketing & Business Development teams. The successful applicant will assist on specific marketing and BD initiatives, which use the full marketing mix to raise awareness of the practice in line with strategic growth objectives and will work with the leadership team to plan and implement business plans, budget proposals and campaign plans for the EMEA region. This broad role will cover all elements of the BD and CRM mix, including pitch management and key account planning, through to broader marketing, communications and events. This position will require an excellent academic background or equivalent allied to proven marketing and business development experience gained in a legal, professional services or partnership environment, to include experience in managing and writing bids. Confident, with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail, it is essential that Business Development Executive is eager to take on additional responsibility and is able to build trust amongst both the fee earning team and the wider stakeholder community.
