Business Development Manager, Finance, Funds & Restructuring (12 Month FTC) – Global Law Firm
A progressive global law firm is looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Business Development Manager to join their global Business Development team based in London on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role will be responsible for supporting the firm's Funds, Finance & Restructuring Division. The successful candidate will work alongside the Senior Business Development Manager to develop and execute business development and marketing initiatives relating to strategy as well as opportunities with priority clients of the firm. They will support Practice Group Leaders and Division Heads to deliver on growth goals set out in the Divisional strategy and will also assume responsibility for the execution of the go-to-market efforts of their portfolio within Funds, Finance & Restructuring. The Business Development Manager will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities across the entire BD and marketing mix, incorporating industry strategy, oversight of the evolution of the industry priority client portfolio and decision making, planning, drafting and coordination of pitches and proposals. On the marketing side, the role holder will support integrated campaigns, thought leadership, marketing collateral, seminars and other events, to profile expertise and build individual and practice area reputation. With gravitas, authority and diplomacy, the ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with significant front line experience within a law firm or professional services environment, to include strong managerial, client relationship and strategic business development advisory experience. Highly organised and proactive, you should possess effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, especially under deadline pressures.
