Based in Dubai, an exciting international role has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager at an ambitious and ever-growing global law firm.
The role holder will lead business development and marketing activities in a way which promotes both the profile of that segment of the business, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will be expected to work seamlessly and collaboratively with national and regional peer-group BD team members and will liaise with partners, senior associates and functional managers on a daily basis. Internationally this role is expected to forge solid relationships with sector and regional peers. The key responsibilities of the role will include formulating business plans and strategies to develop the Group’s business plan, driving the implementation of business development and marketing initiatives and reporting on the progress of these at monthly team calls. You will be tasked with developing and delivering pitches and tender responses, contributing to the firm's Key Account Programme, through identification of key accounts, the establishment of client teams and the development and implementation of their plans, and managing and where necessary creating all marketing materials and activities in support of the business development agenda, including brochures, directory submissions, web pages, seminars and conferences.
The chosen candidate be a bright graduate or equivalent with a background in business development and marketing within a legal services organisation and a good understanding of the role that business development and marketing play within an international legal environment. The Business Development Manager will also be an effective team-player with the energy and enthusiasm to drive new business initiatives, influence partners and analyse and deliver results whilst paying attention to detail.
