Reporting to and working closely with the Senior BD Manager, the role holder will be a strategic adviser to the key stakeholders in the Real Estate practice. You will own, design and develop the BD strategy for your market segment, ensuring it aligns to and supports the firm-wide BD and Marketing objectives. Keeping updated with industry issues and competitor intelligence to identify market opportunities and make recommendations for new products or services, the successful applicant will work with lawyers to identify prospects, develop pursuit plans and track progress through BD meetings, pipeline management and championing usage of the firm’s CRM system. Client relationship management will be a key area of focus. You will need to identify the most appropriate clients and intermediaries for growth, and develop account plans accordingly, ensuring key account initiatives deliver maximum effectiveness by working closely with Partners on planning and implementation, and monitoring progress and data tracking, and conduct client relationship reviews for key accounts. You will also project manage all aspects of the tender process from initial qualification through to document management and presentation rehearsals, as well as debriefs. On the marketing side, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel thought leadership campaign ideas to target key audiences, ensuring effective use of all communications channels including website, email marketing, media and PR, events and sponsorships, and will support the business in the preparation of directory and award submissions.
