A dynamic accountancy firm requires an enthusiastic and energetic Business Development & Marketing Assistant to join their close and supportive team. The team's overarching purpose is to support in retaining and maximising existing clients, help win new ones and manage and enhance the firm's brand. The Business Development & Marketing Assistant will play a key role supporting the team to deliver the firm's strategic plans. You will collaborate with other members of the team to ensure an efficient, aligned approach and also to share best practice and innovation. Influencing and supporting team strategic priorities and initiatives, you will enjoy a broad role encompassing the entire business development and marketing mix. The role holder will create and clean prospective target lists for BD campaigns, conduct market, competitor and prospect research, support the production of bid and tender documents and presentations, assist with client care processes and keep data up-to-date on the firm’s CRM system. On the marketing side, the successful applicant will support the team in developing, sending and measuring the success of multi-channel communications, help to produce reports, collateral and web content, analyse and report back on marketing and communication data and support on a variety of events. The Business Development & Marketing Assistant will possess proven experience working in a similar role within a professional services firm and a good understanding of the full marketing mix. A strong team player with a creative spark and willingness to get involved with multiple projects, the ideal candidate will possess the confidence to suggest ideas and will feel comfortable interacting with people at all levels. A sound knowledge of digital marketing and CRM systems and proficiency using social media are also essential.
