This is a great opportunity for a confident BD & Marketing professional to join the dynamic and friendly team of an independent law firm to provide support to the Marketing & Business Development Manager for the firm's highly-regarded Disputes department. This is an exciting opportunity for a BD Assistant who is ready to make a step up and take on more responsibility. You will be working with a firm that is growing and investing in its marketing and business development team. As a key member of a small team, you will be required to act under your own initiative and will have the opportunity to take full ownership of BD support for several initiatives. This will be a varied and hands-on role providing business development support across the full marketing and business development mix. You will work with the Business Development & Marketing Manager to develop and implement BD plans, monitoring budgets and tracking expenditure, undertake research and keep on top of dispute resolution and industry trends. Managing the tender process will be a key responsibility, with the role holder providing a full range of support from evaluating an opportunity, supporting the lead partner to identify the pitch team, leading on the development of relevant tender documents and online portal responses, coaching the team at the presentation stage and conducting an independent debrief. The Business Development & Marketing Executive will also be heavily involved in profile raising activities, legal directories and awards submissions and assisting the Events manager with the planning and delivery of events for the sector. The chosen candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven professional services BD or marketing experience, preferably gained whilst working in a law firm. This will ideally include previous exposure to either Disputes, Litigation or arbitration. The Business Development & Marketing Executive will also be a highly organised team player with strong IT skills and experience of CRM systems.
