A global law firm focused on people and collaboration are looking for a flexible and adaptable Client Relations Assistant to join their recently established Global Taskforce. The Global Taskforce was established in early 2020 and has since implemented a rigorous weekly process to maximise new business opportunities from new clients to the firm. As well as generating new business streams, the Global Taskforce has enhanced collaboration and cohesion within the organisation. The firm now require additional support in underpinning the Global Taskforce with a variety of administrative, business development and research tasks. The successful applicant will attend key meetings, noting action points and circulating them to relevant individuals and will subsequently ensure follow-up meetings with Partners are scheduled, proactively identify and flag next steps following meeting updates and report back on agreed actions. Working with other members of the marketing and business development team, the Client Relations Assistant will assist with the preparation of materials ahead of meetings, including presentations, pitch and credential materials and any other analysis. The role holder will also undertake research to support the team researcher when required. A strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude, the ideal candidate will be passionate about business development and client management and will possess an excellent understanding of both Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint. Highly organised with excellent communication skills, the Client Relations Assistant will feel confident talking to a range of people from senior partners and other law firm management professionals to new joiners. An analytical approach with the ability to seek methods to extract performance related figures will be essential.
