A leading international law firm requires a very high-calibre Client Relationship Manager to join their prominent business development team working predominantly within the firm's TMT sector. The role objective is to successfully partner with the Client Relationship Partners in the development of long term, profitable and mutually beneficial relationships. You will work with the relevant Partners to set a strategy for your nominated clients and develop and implement robust account plans along a ‘Field of Play’ structure, for those clients. The Client Relationship Manager will need to develop and maintain relationships with key client decision makers. You will also engage in and encourage active support of the firm’s Client Listening Programme and coach and work with partners and lawyers in the delivery of planned marketing, networking, negotiation and pursuit activities. You will be expected to facilitate the penetration of client relationships across practice groups and the network, which will involve chairing or co-chairing regular meetings with client teams to ensure account plans are being appropriately executed. You will also identify and coordinate research with regard to client opportunities and drive an innovative and profitability led approach to meeting the pricing needs of clients. The successful candidate will hold an appropriate undergraduate degree qualification or equivalent and have extensive experience managing significant clients in a professional services environment, to include demonstrable revenue growth. The Client Relationship Manager will have significant expertise in sales and account relationship management and proven experience building strategic business relationships and pursuing new business. You should also have a strong ability to plan and execute against medium term business development plans and goals. Previous experience working in TMT will be highly advantageous.
