A premium, international business law firm, recognised as one of the most innovative in Europe, are looking for an enthusiastic Divisional Business Development Manager, Corporate & Commercial, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, who will be based in either London, Leeds or Manchester, with occasional travel to other UK offices. This role sits within the Business Development department, whose focus in on helping the firm's expert partners and other lawyers to build their brand, communicate persuasively, win business and develop client relationships. The role holder will sit within the central BD function providing support to the divisions and will need to understands their respective sector, its key market drivers and what this means for the firm and their clients. The Divisional Business Development Manager, Corporate & Commercial will work closely with their fellow team members who have primary responsibility for the clients in that sector and together they will be expected to ensure that the firm are capitalising on their strengths and achieving ambitious plans for revenue growth. This will be a varied and rewarding role that is dependent on building good relationships and will include bids, CRM, campaign management, content and profile raising both externally and internally. You will need to have a strong academic background or equivalent allied to extensive BD experience gained in a professional services environment. The Divisional Business Development Manager, Corporate & Commercial will also need to be highly organised and a competent communicator with the confidence to interact professionally with all levels of seniority.
