An opportunity has arisen for an Events specialist to join a London based law firm on a 3 month fixed term contract basis in a challenging Events Assistant role.
The successful applicant will support the Senior Events Executive with the firm's events programme covering a wealth of different events including client events, seminars, internal events and the annual staff party. You will help manage event logistics throughout the lifecycle of an event, including researching venues and experiences, booking a venue, finding entertainment, creating seating plans, creating and sending invitations through the firm's e-marketing program to internal or external guests, collating responses and confirming final details with relevant parties. The Events Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining the events planner, chasing partners for responses and invitees, creating event materials, including name badges and place cards, and other administrative tasks associated with events as required.
The ideal candidate will be a confident bright graduate or equivalent with previous professional services experience in a similar role. Confident, organised and positive with a can-do attitude, the Events Assistant will possess excellent communication and administrative skills and a high attention to detail and will both enjoy and thrive under a busy and varied workload.
