Based in SW London, this is a great opportunity for an events professional to join the driven and dynamic marketing department of a market-leading law firm. This role offers a great chance to work on a diverse range of events with exposure to all sectors within which the firm works. This will be a hands-on opportunity in a busy business development and marketing team. The role holder will be working alongside the Events Manager to produce a programme of well-attended events that will raise the profile of the firm and generate new leads. The Events Executive will help fee earners identify their target audience and recommend the best approach in order to get the maximum value out of the event. You will be responsible for managing events, from conception to delivery, including attendance on the day and measuring and reporting on the success of the event afterwards. The successful applicant will also assist with other duties requested by the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager or the Director of BD & Marketing, including providing support on a wide range of projects and contributing to the general smooth running of the team. The Events Executive will have previous events experience gained in a professional services environment, to include experience of running webinars, dealing with senior leadership and of using CRM systems. A flexible attitude and the ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines are prerequisite, while knowledge of venues in major UK cities and other event suppliers is highly desirable.
