Based in London, this is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, organised and highly motivated early-career events professional ready to help reshape thinking around events and seeking to expand their skills within a global law firm. This is a newly created role which will focus on the planning and delivery of a wide variety of internal events, with plenty of opportunity to get involved in client-facing events as well. The role holder will be offered the independence to take full ownership of certain types of events, while also enjoying the teamwork, support and development that comes with working alongside experienced events and communications professionals. Acting as one of the firm's in-house Events experts available to share insight and best practice advice to all internal clients, you will contribute ideas and support and deputise for the Events and Strategic Partnership Manager and Assistant Manager in managing the full range of events that are within the team's remit. You will be expected to build strong collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholders in the UK and build strong links with counterparts in international locations to ensure collaboration and information exchange between all parts of the international firm. The Events Executive will take the lead on the planning and delivery of a broad range of high priority internal events, from key leadership meetings, 'responsible business' sessions, 'town halls' and bi-annual People Awards, to social occasions such as the firm's summer party and international football tournament. The successful applicant will also be responsible for reviewing and improving processes and reporting in relation to internal events, with a view to building the clearest possible picture around ROI. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering events in a professional services environment, preferably legal, and be able to demonstrate both a track record of success and the potential to develop. Flexible, self-motivated and organised, with a real flair for building rapport with people at all levels of an organisation, you will possess excellent communication, the Events Executive will have a collaborative mind-set and relish working as part of a busy team.
