An exciting junior opportunity has arisen for a communications specialist to join an international law firm on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to help a busy international team. The firm are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Global Communications Assistant to support the Global Communications Team based in London in many aspects of the marketing communications mix. The successful applicant will be heavily involved in the project management of firm-wide directory submissions, including maintaining the directories and awards planners and creating first drafts of Chambers and Legal 500 reports for the External Communications Manager. On the internal communications side, you will support campaigns across the firm through the publishing of alerts, production and distribution of posters and flyers, assembling and distributing table tops and uploading of media to digital TV screens. The role holder will also have a full range of design responsibilities including creating images for social media and the firm's intranet, managing brochure updates and proofing design materials. Digital marketing duties including the project management and implementation of changes to the firm’s website, identifying suitable content for dissemination via social media channels and tracking social media analytics will also be key elements of this challenging and varied role. The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with some previous B2B marketing experience, ideally within a professional services environment. An enthusiastic team player, the Global Communications Assistant must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent writing, editing and presentation skills. A good understanding of social media, prior use of HootSuite, basic Photoshop or InDesign skills and experience of content management systems and online mailing systems is highly desirable.
