Internal Communications Manager (12 Month FTC) – Large Global Law Firm
This is a great 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager with outstanding writing skills to join one of the largest global law firms.
Based in a highly regarded Internal Communications team, the Internal Communications Manager will build relationships with senior management and partners in order to advise and influence how they and their teams should conduct internal communications. You will be expected to liaise with business development colleagues across the firm's 40+ offices, particularly in the U.S., and work closely with the Public Relations team. The role holder will have responsibility for UK, international and global internal communications, working closely with the Internal Communications Director and other members of the Internal Communications team. This will include internal communications support for the UK managing partner, leading on key firmwide and UK announcements, such as financial results, the firm's culture and engagement strategy, and other major projects led by the Board and International Management Committee. The successful applicant will also provide internal communications support for some of the firm's key campaigns and thought leadership. In addition, the Internal Communications Manager role will be involved in the day-to-day management of internal content streams, including sourcing content and drafting and editing.
Applicants will need to have a strong academic background or equivalent and must be creative, dynamic and have outstanding writing skills. The Internal Communications Manager will have several years of internal communications experience working at a senior level, preferably in a law firm or large, complex, multinational professional services environment. The ability to deal with senior level individuals across the business is also essential.
