Based in Guildford, an excellent junior opportunity has arisen for a proactive Marketing & BD Assistant to join a fast growing UK law firm. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Business Development, the successful applicant will enjoy a broad role, providing high quality support to staff and working closely with the team to help deliver firm strategy and key projects. The role holder will advise fee earners on the best use of the firm's CRM system, ensuring high levels of engagement across the firm and identifying opportunities for improved use, and will use the system to create and update marketing lists and collate reports to support BD activities. You will support the BD team in preparing pitch materials and other client-facing credentials, including producing research reports, maintain the master experience database and the pitch index ensuring they are kept up to date and assist in the preparation of directory submissions. Marketing communications will be a key area of focus. You will help maintain content on the firm's website, intranet and social media channels, work with the Marketing Communications Manager to identify ways of enhancing the firm's social media presence, improving the process and reporting through analytics, and support fee earners to draft press releases and award submissions. The Marketing & BD Assistant will also provide best practice advice and support to Business Development Managers with webinars and client events. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and positive marketer with proven experience working in a similar role, ideally in a professional services firm. With strong attention to detail and good organisational and administrative skills, the Marketing & BD Assistant will be IT proficient and will enjoy working effectively and accurately under pressure handling multiple tasks and prioritising accordingly.
