Based in London or Winchester, an exciting 9 month fixed term contract Marketing & BD Manager role has arisen in a leading firm of actuaries.  The role holder will enjoy a broad role supporting the business in all areas of business development and marketing.
The successful applicant will be joining a well-respected, successful and growing business development team which leads and implements all marketing, sales and client development programmes within the firm and plays a key role in developing and delivering the firm’s strategy. The Marketing & BD Manager will support all aspects of marketing and business development for the firm's trustee pensions offering, which is the biggest part of their business. The role is supported directly by a BD Executive and works closely with experts in the business and specialists in the BD team to deliver integrated and impactful campaigns. The successful applicant will work on a range of marketing plans and campaigns designed to protect and grow the firm's excellent market position.  The successful applicant will provide input into the marketing plan, integrate and manage marketing campaigns, manage internal and external communications and create content designed to raise the profile of the firm's brand, and to form part of lead generation and prospect nurture campaigns, including delivery of thought leadership reports, magazines, blogs, guides, social media and events.
The chosen candidate for the role of Marketing & BD Manager will be a highly motivated marketing all-rounder, with a proven track record in professional services marketing and BD, ideally in the pensions sector, allied to strong academics or equivalent. Excellent communication and consultative skills are paramount. A broad knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing channels will also be essential.
