You will use both your own writing skills and occasionally work alongside a copywriter, to convert sales messages into compelling pages on the firm’s website and develop accompanying case studies and other content to bring sales messages to life, advising the firm on keywording and other techniques to boost the ranking potential of their web pages on search engines. Working with the internal digital and design team to publish pages and content, suggesting ways to add visual impact and boost engagement, will represent an important element of the role. The successful applicant will need to recommend 'calls to action' and opportunities to optimise the performance of web pages and content and in cases where current web pages and content are under-performing, pro-actively suggest plans to improve or remove that content. The ideal candidate will be able to work with internal designers and specialist agencies to produce videos and infographics and be familiar with different content marketing techniques and formats and also with the basic tenets of content marketing and Search Engine Optimisation, including the completion of keyword analysis.
