A great new marketing opportunity has opened up with an award-winning, top-tier law firm who require a Marketing Executive to join their small but busy marketing and BD team based in London. This is a full mix Marketing Executive role with a MarComms focus. Working closely to support the work of the Head of Marketing & Business Development and the Marketing & Business Development Manager, you will enjoy a varied role assisting with and implementing a wide range of marketing and business development activity across the firm. The role holder will oversee many of the firm’s communications, including dealing with press and PR enquiries, writing a weekly internal newsletter, developing and executing email marketing campaigns, writing posts for social channels and dealing with award submissions. You will be responsible for liaising with partners and other fee earners regarding event planning for seminars, webinars and networking receptions and will run the events from start to finish, including drafting and sending out invitations, monitoring response rates, liaising with external suppliers and assisting at the events. Producing competitor analysis and carrying out other relevant research, the successful applicant will be involved in the development of marketing and business development plans and assist with projects for a variety of different practice areas. Positive, committed and prepared to use initiative and learn, the ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven experience in a similar role gained whilst working in a fast paced law firm environment. With strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to work either autonomously, co-operatively or with direction, to ensure deadlines are met, the Marketing Executive will be an excellent communicator, proof reader and copywriter with high attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
