Pitch Specialist – International Law Firm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bid specialist to join the Business Development team of a leading international law firm. This role would suit a candidate who is on the precipice of promotion within their current team and looking to demonstrate their skills in a fast growing, dynamic and rewarding environment.
The firm is seeking a mid to senior level pitching specialist to join the London office, working with partners in their pursuit of competitive or strategic pitch opportunities across the key practice areas of Corporate, Debt Finance, Funds and Litigation. As such, the Pitch Specialist will be expected to add value at each stage of the process, from opportunity evaluation to pitch execution and post-pitch follow up. With the ability to work within a professional, dynamic and demanding environment, the role will work in collaboration with the BD Specialist and BD Director to co-ordinate the timely delivery of high-quality tactical and strategic pitches. The role holder will bring insightful previous experience in professional services pitching and apply this to the pitches they work on. In doing so, they will help to develop and refine best practice to share within the team. As required, you will also contribute to departmental and global strategic pitch projects and ensure that the needs of the pitch team and wider BD function are appropriately represented.
To be successful in this role, you will display a real passion for pitching and enjoy the fast turnaround, high-pressure environment. You will have demonstrable experience of working in a bids role, with a track record of successfully managing bids end-to-end in a professional services environment, preferably in a law firm. Enthusiastic and proactive, with an excellent service ethic and the ability to operate effectively as part of a busy team, the Pitch Specialist will possess outstanding organisational and communication skills and a strong attention to detail and have developed a strong understanding of bids best practice.
