An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bid specialist to join the Business Development team of a leading international law firm, based in their growing London office, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This role would suit a candidate who is keen to add value in a fast growing, dynamic and rewarding environment. The firm is seeking an experienced specialist to be focused on the execution and support of new business development in the firm’s Riyadh office. The firm’s launched its Riyadh office in 2024 and the team on the ground are working hard to attract new clients, responding to various RFPs and pitches from both government portals, alongside requests from personal relationships. The Pitch Specialist will be expected to add value at each stage of the process, from intelligence gathering to pitch execution and follow up. With the ability to work within a professional and demanding environment, you will work in collaboration with the firm's existing London Pitch Manager, Pitch Specialist and Coordinator and the wider Riyadh team, comprising colleagues in Riyadh and across the U.S., as well as communicating and collaborating with a global team of diverse problem-solvers and advisers dedicated to the broader BD, marketing and communications efforts of the firm. The role holder will bring insightful previous experience in professional services pitching and apply this to the pitches on which they work. You will take complete ownership of Riyadh pitch opportunities, championing best practices and ensuring all opportunities are correctly managed. You will work directly with partners to create bespoke materials and unique and persuasive content and must ensure client presentations are visually appealing. The successful applicant will also be responsible for logging work produced correctly in relevant internal databases and keeping base pitching documents up to date with the latest information. To be successful in this role, you will display a real passion for pitching and enjoy a fast turnaround, high-pressure environment. A bright graduate or equivalent, you will have demonstrable experience of working in a bids role, in a law firm, bank or other professional services environment. Enthusiastic and proactive, with an excellent service ethic and the ability to operate effectively as part of a busy team, the Pitch Specialist will possess outstanding organisational and communication skills and a high attention to detail and have a strong understanding of bids best practice.
