This is an exciting opportunity for a junior communications specialist to join the friendly, ambitious and fast-paced PR team of a global law firm to support the Associate Director in their efforts to promote the firm across the EMEA region. This will be a very interesting and diverse role supporting a broad range of PR activities across the firm's legal practices. Working closely with other members of the PR team, the role holder will liaise with colleagues across the firm’s global business and with EMEA PR agencies. You will be expected to build relationships at all levels in the firm and to take responsibility and solve problems independently and as part of a supportive team. Key duties will include maintaining and pulling data from the global tracker, sharing media coverage, compiling data for surveys, conducting research and scheduling meetings. The Public Relations Assistant will also have an opportunity to develop additional skills including organising interviews, drafting press releases and reporting on PR results. You will be degree educated or equivalent with relevant hands-on experience in a public relations or communications role, ideally gained whilst working within a law firm or in another professional services environment. A highly organised team player with strong attention to detail, the Public Relations Assistant will be able to demonstrate excellent grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension and the ability to prioritise and coordinate their own work.
