A leading international law firm is looking for a very high-calibre person to join their prominent business development team to support the firm’s market leading Competition, Regulatory & Trade practice. This is a great opportunity to join the Competition, Regulatory & Trade BD team, working closely with the Senior BD Manager and a BD Consultant, to support partners and associates across the practice. The Senior Business Development Executive will have a broad remit covering both marketing and business development. There will be heavy involvement in the bids process, drafting pitch and tender responses and working with the design team to develop bespoke materials and you will also develop and deliver client engagement initiatives and support cross-selling opportunities. Capturing and maintaining core information such as credentials, partner CVs, brochures and website and intranet maintenance will represent a key element of the role. On the broader marketing side, management of the directory submissions will be an immediate responsibility along with the development and execution of thought leadership campaigns and the creation of relevant materials and client target and mailing lists. In addition, the successful applicant will provide support for client events and promote and drive the use of social media amongst fee earners. In order to be considered for this challenging role you will need proven business development experience preferably gained within in a partnership or corporate environment. The Senior Business Development Executive will also ideally possess experience in disputes or legal services, with previous experience of CRT being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be systems proficient, preferably with sound knowledge of Foundation, Qorus and InterAction, and will be able to demonstrate past success in the use of social media.
