A modern, progressive and commercially-oriented City law firm with a dynamic and enterprising approach is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive who will be based in their London office. This challenging role would be suitable for an experienced Business Development Executive who is looking for a full mix role in a mid-sized law firm where they can make a strategic impact and help shape the growth of one of the firm's most dynamic and forward-thinking groups. It is also a high profile role and would suit someone who is confident and has strong communication skills. The role offers a balance of project ownership and autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in team initiatives with significant partner liaison. The Senior Business Development Executive will be heavily involved in proposition building and positioning, drafting compelling and engaging pitches and credentials documents, securing high placement in leading legal directories and building overall brand and reputation in the external market place. The successful applicant will be expected to provide strategic advice and guidance to lawyers concerning awareness and profile raising and to drive market reputation to key buyer groups. Whilst ensuring practice area marketing initiatives dovetail with firmwide marketing and brand building activities, you will work alongside lawyers to implement appropriate positioning and business development tactics including legal updates, bulletins, blogs, conferences, seminars, hospitality and telemarketing. The role holder will also work alongside the Head of Business Development, to reaffirm and develop the firm's Key Account Programme and implement CRM best practice. The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry. Strategic and commercially minded, the Senior Business Development Executive will possess outstanding project management, communication and interpersonal skills and a natural desire to "go the extra mile".
