A leading legal firm is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Senior Business Development Manager to join their Marketing team.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative connector and communicator to apply their business acumen and lead the marketing and business development of the firm's corporate and commercial services. Working across corporate, commercial litigation, employment and pensions, tax and private wealth the role includes the added dimension of helping the firm make the most out of its membership of Interlaw, an elite global network of independent law firms in over 150 cities across the world.  This role holder will be part of the firm's marketing and business development team of 23 based across London, Birmingham and Dubai. With line management of a Marketing Assistant, the Senior Business Development Manager will lead on all BD and marketing activities including drafting and implementing departmental business and marketing plans, devising campaigns and engaging content to raise profile and help win new business, engaging lawyers to help them build and maintain relationships and pursue opportunities with existing clients and prospects and providing support and advice on bids and tenders. The role will require travel to the other UK offices once or twice a month to engage with teams on a national basis as well as to conferences and other events as dictated by the plans and campaigns which evolve with the role.
You will be a bright graduate or equivalent with CIM qualifications and extensive proven marketing experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. The Senior Business Development Manager will also have excellent relationship and team building skills and a positive and proactive attitude with gravitas, credibility, drive and enthusiasm. A creative thinker with the ability to translate industry knowledge into actions and connect ideas, you will enjoy working under pressure to meet deadlines.
