Having experienced a period of significant growth, a national law firm is looking for a Senior Bids Executive to join a hardworking and robust team who deal with a full spectrum of tasks including seminars, events, publications, press and PR, tenders and various marketing initiatives. The role will be based in either the firm's London, Leeds or Birmingham offices and will operate a hybrid model offering a mix of office-based and remote working. The successful applicant will work as part of a busy team of seven staff, headed by the Head of Business Development. This role holder will support the firm in winning new business opportunities for both practice and sector-based legal teams. You will be responsible for developing compelling content that accurately showcases the firm’s offering, from their expertise to the systems the firm uses to deliver excellent client service. You will report to the Framework Manager and receive support from a BD Executive. The Senior Bids Executive will lead tenders from initial opportunity through to drafting, submission, post submission feedback and reporting, managing input from practice area experts across the firm, including partners and business support teams. The successful applicant will need to understand all elements of quality submissions and ensure responses correctly and fully address these. Designing compelling presentations, preparing key staff for interviews and clarification meetings and producing tender analysis and reporting on client feedback themes will be key responsibilities of this challenging role. The ideal candidate will possess proven tender or bids experience gained in a professional services setting, to include both working with and managing internal stakeholders. Previous experience of handling sensitive situations and data with confidentiality and good judgment is essential. The Senior Bids Executive will be an energetic, driven and focused individual with high attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a strong ability to quickly establish rapport with internal clients.
