As Senior Business Development Executive at this global law firm, you will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, Business Development Manager and the wider BD team to develop and implement BD plans and initiatives for the Corporate practice. You will be part of a BD team that is already well-established within the firm and which is respected by partners and other fee-earners for its high standards of service and the ideas and commitment it brings to business development activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a BD Executive looking for a stretching next move. The successful candidate will play an important role supporting the delivery of strategic business development plans for all four corporate practice areas within the firm. The role will operate across the global business, but most closely with partners and lawyers in London, Dublin, Dubai and the US. This role will be important in helping the firm build on the client development and profile-raising work that has already been done and continue to create a more structured approach to BD activities. The role holder will also be central in helping the firm develop a more commercial outlook to its clients and its work. The Senior Business Development Executive will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities including; working with partners and the Bids team to pitch for new business opportunities and drafting coordinating the writing of pitch documents and credential statements; supporting thought leadership campaigns, BD products, client communications and marketing initiatives; assisting the creation of directory and award submissions to increase market profile: and running practice specific seminars and networking events. Commercially aware, proactive, engaging and energetic, the ideal candidate will have solid business development or client relationship management experience gained at a similar level from within a law or professional services firm. It is essential that the Senior Business Development Executive possesses excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to motivate and inspire fee earners to deliver business goals. In addition, you must be a confident written and oral communicator with a can-do attitude and a bias for action.
