An international law firm with offices across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East is looking for a robust, confident and proactive Senior Business Development Executive to join their team in London. This will be a varied, full-time role, including agile and flexible working. The successful applicant will support the Senior Business Development Manager in the development and execution of the Construction, Real Estate and Disputes group business plans and budgeting, participating in relevant meetings, updating on activity, and will help in the identification and creation of opportunities to win new business. As a ‘go to’ person providing day to day support, the Senior Business Development Executive will work with the BD and Marketing team to develop strategic targeting of new and existing business and will support the Senior Business Development Manager on the pitching process, from pre-pitch strategic discussion to document production, including leading on pitch meetings and providing advice throughout the pitch process. On the marketing side, key responsibilities will include the planning and delivery of events, assisting in the identification and coordination of PR activity, helping to coordinate the legal directory and award submissions process, supporting the maintenance of the firm's website and collaborating in firm wide projects, initiatives and campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a good academic record or equivalent and a proven track record of delivering results gained whilst working in a similar role within a law firm. Computer literate with some knowledge of marketing databases, preferably InterAction, the Senior Business Development Executive will be a team player with excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running.
