An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Executive to join the BD team of one of the world’s leading law firms. You will enjoy a broad role with involvement in a wide variety of business development and marketing activities. With lead responsibility for supporting one or more defined small practice areas, you will support the Partners, lawyers and wider BD team with the implementation of the firm's strategy. The successful applicant will assist on the implementation of the key account management programme through research, preparing reports on clients, markets, trends and developments and maintaining relevant information resources and support pitching through client and market research and the production of client-related materials. You will also help manage the content for various business development tools including the deals database, CVs, pitch toolbox and a variety of client development tools. On the marketing side, the Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for legal directory and award submissions, helping to tailor and update the firm's key marketing materials and support client facing events including the development of seminar agendas, invitations, invitation lists and follow up. The successful candidate will be a proactive graduate or equivalent with previous experience in business development and pitching within an international professional services firm. Enthusiastic and confident, the Senior Business Development Executive will need strong organisational abilities, excellent written and oral communications skills and good attention to detail.
