A progressive global law firm is looking for a highly commercial and innovative Senior Business Development Manager to join their global Business Development team based in London on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role will be responsible for supporting the firm's Finance, Funds & Restructuring Division. Comprising leading practices across the firm’s network, this division is central to the success of the firm. The firm have huge ambitions for the future growth of the practice, which requires significant business development support to help realise the firm’s potential. Serving as a member of the leadership team and driving and managing the effective execution of the go-to-market strategy, the successful candidate will work closely with key practice and industry partners on the development and execution of the financial services team strategic plans. Leading and developing a financial services focused BD team and developing and managing the BD budget, monitoring spend and capturing ROI, you will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities across the entire BD and marketing mix. Maintaining knowledge of key and emerging issues impacting the practice and industry, the Senior Business Development Manager will be tasked with the management of specified key client accounts, ensuring relationships and growth targets are met or exceeded year-on-year, and supporting Client Relationship Partners to develop and execute client account plans to help deepen relationships and drive profitable growth. You will be required to manage and support the entire opportunity pursuit process, including identifying opportunities, managing opportunity tracking processes, preparing client-focused sales collateral and coordinating partners around pipelines and strategic pursuits. On the marketing side, the role holder will develop and implement integrated profile raising campaigns, thought leadership, digital marketing, events and other market facing activities, to build individual and group reputation. A strategic thinker with strong focus on execution, the ideal candidate will possess significant front line experience within a law firm or professional services environment, to include strong leadership and business development advisory experience. Highly organised and proactive, you should enjoy working to tight deadlines and managing multiple projects and activities and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with peers and influence internal clients including senior stakeholders Leighton Taylor promotes diversity, equality and fair treatment in all aspects of our work.
