An award-winning international law firm is looking for a senior Communications professional to join a friendly, collaborative and creative team as Senior Communications Manager. As a key member of the BD team, you will be integral to its success and impact, both externally and internally. This role will support the firm's global BD colleagues across their global network. The role holder will have significant face time with senior people across the firm and, as such, will have the opportunity to make a major impact very quickly. The Senior Communications Manager will lead, create and implement an integrated communications strategy incorporating external and internal communications, in support of the firm’s ongoing strategic marketing and business development programmes and campaigns, thought leadership, internal communications and employee engagement. You will drive the PR agenda and press relationships to build the reputation of the firm and key stakeholders in the marketplace and will need to maximise the thought leadership programme and coverage to increase the firm's share of voice on key industry issues. The successful applicant will be tasked with setting an overall strategy for and overseeing the production of key internal communications to support a global employee engagement programme, using the firm's new intranet and other channels. Working closely with the digital develop, evolve and implement an effective communications infrastructure of tools and channels that enable flexible, agile and creative communication, including the intranet, video, online newsletters and email bulletins, will represent a key responsibility of this broad and challenging role. Ideal candidates will have proven experience of successfully developing and delivering PR and Communications strategies within a professional services environment, ideally in the legal sector. The role would suit a confident and well-organised self-starter, with a strong ability to gain the respect and trust of Partners and business services colleagues at all levels of seniority.
