An outstanding opportunity for an events specialist has arisen in a highly successful international law firm. Working closely with an outstanding team of marketing and business development professionals you will be involved in a full and diverse range of client events. The Senior Events Executive will have the opportunity to work agilely in an advisory and execution role with a primary focus on providing an outstanding client and brand experience. You will provide support to the Marketing and Business Development teams through the planning and delivery of an effective events programme. The role will primarily support client events, in-house and at external venues, as well as occasional key internal events. Working with the Business Development core plan leads and Marketing team, the successful applicant will undertake an annual planning and budgeting process to identify and agree an events programme in line with strategic priorities and campaigns for the coming year. Ensuring cost effective delivery and adherence to set budgets, you will plan and project manage each event from start to finish, including bookings, contracts, equipment, digital delivery as required, managing invite lists and catering and attending events as required to ensure smooth delivery. You will also be expected to create and implement a standard follow-up programme for all events, designed to measure value for money and return on investment; providing reports on follow up activity and successes following the completion of a campaign and regular reports and data insight to the Head of Marketing and Communications. Continual research and analysis of the marketplace to keep up to date with developments in events delivery and use of technology will be key to the success of the role holder. Key requirements for this role, include proven end-to-end in person, digital and hybrid event experience gained in a professional services organisation, to include the management of budgets and logistics. Practical and hands-on, yet able to take a proactive, imaginative and strategic view, the Senior Events Executive will also need outstanding organisational and influencing skills and confident presentation skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the London and South East area for venue selection and appreciation of legal sector and the varying clients’ based within it.
