A leading international law firm is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive with drive and ambition, to work closely with the Dispute Resolution team to deliver incisive and value-added marketing and business development support. The successful applicant will find themselves at the forefront of a leading practice, the second largest in the firm and rapidly expanding. You will collaborate with lawyers to drive marketing and business development strategies, using strategic insights and a proactive approach to shape the practice’s future. The role will demand both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery and the ability to juggle both will be key to success. Acting as a central knowledge resource for the DR practice within the marketing and business development team, you will participate in BD practice planning and budgeting, ensuring implementation with fee earners. You will provide project management to a Marketing and Business Development Assistant on a day-to-day basis and will manage practice-specific tenders, proposals and pitches, including bid assessment, pitch logistics, material compilation and drafting responses. On the marketing side, the role holder will lead and manage directory submissions and assist in the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies, including digital channels, ensuring adherence to best practices. The Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive will also enhance the firm's standing by identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, advertising and media exposure and coordinate and execute events. With a well-developed understanding of marketing and business development strategy and implementation, the ideal applicant will possess proven marketing or business development experience gained in a professional services firm, to ideally include familiarity with a DR legal practice. A self-starter with commercial acumen and strong attention to detail, the Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive must be able to lead the end to end management of pitch processes, whilst any previous experience in social media, PR and online services will be highly advantageous.
