Based in Singapore, a fantastic opportunity has arisen within a large global law firm who are seeking to hire a highly experienced marketing and business development professional to both increase business and raise the firm's brand profile in the Asia region. Providing regular progress and challenge updates to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will collaborate daily with the Asia Managing Partner and Director of Strategy Asia to plan and execute cross-office strategic projects designed to raise the firm’s profile internally and externally, proactively highlighting practice opportunities from an individual and group practice perspective and working closely with Asia office Managing Partners to spearhead mid to long term cross-office marketing projects which align with firm objectives. You will also work with individual partners regarding the development and execution of their own business plans, with a particular focus on enhancing utilisation. The Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager will need to understand and be proficient in all facets of the Regional Marketing function in order to establish best practices, identify challenges and have context to provide appropriate resolutions and must analyse the efficacy of marketing goals, initiatives, events and individual spend, redirecting as necessary. Team management will be key to success in this challenging role. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and mentoring a high calibre business development and marketing team in the region and building improved team cohesion and cooperation. The Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager will be of graduate calibre or equivalent with extensive experience in legal marketing at an international law firm or other complex professional services environment. With outstanding oral and written communication skills and a strong ability to function independently, effectively and professionally within a multi-faceted organisation, the ideal candidate will possess an existing network of contacts within the industry and will excel at motivating and inspiring a team.
