Senior Marketing Manager (Assurance) – Large Professional Services Firm
One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for a commercially minded senior manager level candidate to become a key member of their Assurance marketing team. The role offers a significant development opportunity for a senior manager seeking to make a step change and increase their business influence and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Assurance and working closely with the Assurance leadership team, you can expect challenge and ample scope to develop. The Assurance line of service provides market-leading services to a range of clients including some of the most innovative and successful brands in the world. It encompasses products and services designed to help the firm's clients harness the technological revolution, navigate regulatory uncertainty and build trust with clients. The prime focus of the Sales and Marketing team is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy and in particular to deliver revenue growth, enhanced relationships and networks and a distinctive brand experience. As part of this team, the Senior Marketing Manager will challenge and consult the business on the shape of the overall market strategy and as such they will be responsible for the development, planning and execution of numerous marketing activities. To make an impact you will need to be self-starting and inquisitive in order to develop a thorough understanding of the strategic drivers for the business and the markets in which it operates. Providing leadership in the delivery of all marketing activity across multiple channels and ensuring marketing activity is continuously improved, you will offer expert advice on the most appropriate approach, content and channel mix and be accountable for ensuring that quality and brand standards are always upheld. The role holder will also evaluate the effectiveness of the firm's communications and define short and long-term ROI measures, taking responsibility for delivery and evaluation of ROI on specific campaigns. It is essential that the successful candidate encourages creativity and innovation within their team, managing performance effectively and providing opportunities for individual growth and development in line with career aspirations.
The Senior Marketing Manager must be a creative and innovative graduate with extensive services marketing experience and a proven track record in the provision of multi-channel marketing campaigns and of developing and implementing marketing strategy matched to commercial objectives, through change and ambiguity. Technology services or solutions marketing experience would also be preferable. Proactive and tenacious, with a positive can do approach, you will possess strong people management and development skills with demonstrable past experience of managing high-performing teams. In addition, candidates will require powerful communication skills in order to be credible with senior leadership.
