Senior Relationship Manager, Financial Investors (12 Month FTC) – Large International Law Firm
Based in London or continental Europe, one of the largest international law firms in the world require a highly experienced Senior Relationship Manager to manage and support a portfolio of private capital clients on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The Senior Relationship Manager will manage a portfolio of private capital global strategic and growth clients, running day-to-day aspects of client relationship activity globally for their clients and ensuring a high level of proactivity. You will be responsible for managing the achievement of global fee and profitability targets with Partners and client teams and for monitoring the financial performance of individual clients. The role holder will be required to research and analyse the clients’ businesses and key market sectors to identify new revenue generation opportunities and work closely with relationship teams to develop, implement and track progress of annual global client plans, ensuring client plan objectives and actions are followed up in a timely manner and holding team members to account as necessary. You will be heavily involved in lead generation, supporting on strategic pitch opportunities, client-facing interaction and driving client feedback. Sharing best practice and supporting the firm’s wider client programme will also represent an important area of focus. In addition, the successful applicant will work closely with the Events and Inclusion teams to generate ideas for specific client events that will meet the strategic and tactical objectives of the client plan and will play a key role in the organisation of these events. In order to perform this role successfully, candidates will need extensive client relationship management experience or have had significant exposure to client relationship programmes ideally from a practice BD role, to include in depth experience of strategic account planning and managing complex panel RFPs gained whilst working within professional services firms. Previous success in supporting a regional sector or product line team and coaching and devising training for Partners & Associates in client relationship management skills will also be essential. A highly motivated self-starter and exceptional team player, committed to high performance, the Senior Relationship Manager will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, previous Financial Investors experience and possess a sound knowledge of the private capital sectors.
