An award-winning international law firm is looking for a Strategic Accounts Executive to join their team in Birmingham. The Strategic Accounts team are responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm’s key accounts across four sectors, but are predominantly real estate clients. The Strategic Accounts Executive will support the Senior Strategic Accounts Manager, wider BD team and client partners on the strategic account programme which was refreshed at the beginning of the year. The role will be very admin focused, although it is anticipated in the future this will be minimised as there is a plan to introduce systems and processes to support and minimise admin. The role holder will initially focus on admin on accounts with the view that once they are embedded and understand the firm, management of accounts will be introduced. This role will not be a sales role; there are no targets just a focus on relationship management with value added experience for the clients. Main duties will include attending team meetings, collating press releases and financial data, processing financial information and an element of taking notes, updates and actions in client team meetings, highlighting key points to the team. A self-motivated and positive team player with a can-do approach, the ideal candidate will have excellent BD and account management skills and a sound working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. It is essential that the Strategic Accounts Executive possesses previous experience of looking after key client relationships gained whilst working in a professional services environment.
